Fraud and payment security are some of the biggest challenges retailers are dealing with today. As businesses strive to increase security in their orders and financial transactions, fraudsters are coming up with new ways to take advantage of vulnerabilities in retail systems. If the fraud is substantial enough, retailers can suffer financial loss that may not be recoverable. With Ability CCS Order Management System (OMS), your financial transactions are secure, so you can have peace of mind and focus on other things required in your business.

Due to the increasing complexity of modern software, PCI Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) was retired in 2022 and replaced with PCI Software Security Framework (SSF). SSF Standards contain additional requirements that were not previously part of PA-DSS. These are proprietary information security standards for organizations that handle major credit card brands, such as: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. CCS Order Management System is PCI-SSF Certified, including Service Organization Control Type 2 (SOC 2) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) requirements, making it compliant with all reporting, audit trail and encryption processes. All PII is encrypted.

Transactions are encrypted using AES-256, which is the strongest encryption method and virtually impenetrable. This allows for the deletion of all sensitive data from temporary storage facilities which includes in-program memory.

Batch payment authorizations are done securely through a payment processor of your choice, including Chase Paymentech, Vantiv Worldpay, Authorize.Net, and more.

To even further protect your business from fraudulent transactions, CCS OMS comes with a built-in Fraud Order Holds functionality that allows you to flag orders as possible fraud based on pre-defined criteria. This criteria can be based on credit card number, email address, phone number, address, and zip code. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for users to log-in, further boosting CCS’ security protocols.
